It's MARCH and Love Is In The Air-Waves!

As I enter into my wedding month (YAY!!) I can't help but smile when I hear songs about getting married :-)Remember the oldie but goodie "Calander Girl" by Neil Sedaka?! I remember distinctively the lyrics, "March, I'm gonna march you down the aisle..." and I remember thinking to myself as a child, "Who get's married in March?!" Who would have guessed it would be me!!! :-)

Really though, there seem to be a lot of wedding related songs out right now, definitely more then usual! Brides-To-Be now have more then just The Dixie Cups "Chapel of Love" to jam out to (although that is and always will be one of my favorites!!! I remember falling in love to that song while watching Father of the Bride as a child!!) I loved this youtube clip I found of the song with some eclectic movie wedding scenes :-)

Now check out the newer songs that never fail to put a smile on my face when I hear them...First up, Train's new hit..."Marry Me"...it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it!

Glee just did an episode where they sang a rendition of Bruno Mars' "Marry You"...fun! Thanks Brister for bringing this one to my attention!

I got a major grin when I heard Colbie Calliet's new single "I Do" on the radio last week :-D

Likewise when I hear the new country hit "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" by Thompson Square...definitely a wedding must play!

One I used to sing along to loud and proud before my engagement was Little Big Town's "Little White Church"...haha!

The song Taylor Swift's new album "Speak Now" is named after isn't my favorite one of this list but another wedding song none the less...I told Patrick we better not have this happen to us!!!

Keeping with the country theme...Rascal Flatts "Why Wait" - I've thought of this song many times throughout the planning process - haha!

And of course I can't leave off Carrie Underwood's current hit..."Momma's Song"

If I've missed any of the newer ones let me know! In the meantime, enjoy all the wedding love songs and videos I've compiled :-)
